New job is turning out to be a lot of fun so far. I spent a good portion of the week working my way through the Flex Training from the Source book, which is a lot of fun so far. At one point while I was doing this two guys next to me were discussing Subversion lifecycles, guys in the other room were peer reviewing UML designs while a few others were discussing their side project in Ruby on Rails. Lot of fun all around really. You always think working for a bigger company sucks life out of you, but in the right place it gives you more time and more realistic deadlines. Seems like as long as things get done when they need to be done we’re pretty much granted free reign on how things go; which is pretty cool.
