I remember in the early days of blogging on LiveJournal I’d join a ton of trends and lists. Someone made a list of 50 completely random questions? OF COURSE I’LL ANSWER THEM.

In the days of blogging that trend has mostly moved to microblogging services. I rarely come across any now a days, other than the occasional #introduction, or my favorite, #7FilmsToKnowMe. When I saw Matt Birchler’s post about the apps he uses and the trend I started filling it out before I finished looking at the list. 😂

Reading this over I’m amazed at how much I’ve slimmed down my custom apps over the years. I used to have a bunch more elaborate solutions but over the years I’ve moved back to the popular apps in many categories.

Any app recommendations for me you think I should try to switch off anything here? Let me know on Mastodon.
