Day 6: Folklore Hike

Went on a folklore hike through the mountains with a guide. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a ton about out the Buddhist, naturalist and confusionist origins of korea. The hike was tough, and I didn’t eat enough beforehand. The views of the city were OK, but the history, Buddhist temples and meal at the end were all memorable. The meal had a vegetable pancake and the soup had hand pulled noodles and lots of veggies and clams. We came back to the run and mostly passed out soon after.
