This Christmas is definitely a first for me. I’m hanging out here in Orlando, mostly just going through the boxes I’ve brought over here in the past few months. First Christmas in 18 years I haven’t been at the 17th Avenue house in St. Petersburg, and first one not swamped with relatives. As sad as it sounds though, I’m enjoying myself. With the financial stuff off my mind, i’ve been able to continue sorting out a lot of things I’ve put off (both emotionally and physically), so it’s been a productive day. Eating chinese food, watching movies, reading stuff online — it’s been a good holiday so far. I’m sure tomorrow I’ll make a round of family calls and such.
