Yes, the plugins are not smart/sophisticated enough yet to trust certain IdPs or the service equivalent of akismet for trusted IdPs. We’ll get there – but first things first. Congrats on the clean install though. It’s nice.

Thanks Feir. Since openID comments have only been enabled here for a few days now, I haven’t had to deal with the problem yet. I use Akismet for my normal spam as most people do, but no openID spam comments have come in as of yet. If I find out anything about handling this, I’ll be sure to post about it.

Nice job. Adam, an question for you. What do you do to stop Spam comments when you open OpenID comment. I think most anti-spam plugins do not work with OpenID.
